GP Training

As a training practice we occasionally have GP registrars attached to the practice. These are qualified doctors who are undergoing further training to become general practitioners. Each registrar will spend several months at the practice and be part of the clinical team during that time. They will run surgeries both jointly with our GPs and also on their own.

From time to time we also have other medical/nursing students at the practice as part of their training. They will sit in on clinics and you will be advised when you arrive for your appointment that this is happening. If you have any objections to this, please tell the receptionist and the student will not sit in on your appointment.
